Here is what I am trying to do: I am playing a Final Fantasy PS1 game on my PS2. I have a memory card from each inserted. The game keeps telling me that there is no memory card at all. HELP??????

take out the ps2 memory card.

take the ps1 memory card out of slot #2 and put the ps1 memory card into the slot above the connector for the first player (the controller you use)

You have to use the process of elimination. First try this same memory card with the same game in another person's PS2. If you still have the same problem, try a different game (although I'm sure it's not the game). If the card works fine in your friend's PS2, then it's obviously something wrong with your PS2. Try that first and reply back with your results.

Bad read, have to blow the dust from the PS1 Memory Card and the dust from the PS2 Memory Card Reader,

My blue memory card does it all the time, you just have to keep trying
