Unjust enrichment. Just look at how much Bush and Cheney are making from Halliburton and Blackwater with their $ multi billions in no bid contracts. Not to mention Bush's oil stock in his "blind trust"
Or it might be the the CEO's can make hundreds of millions each year while making sure their lower tier workers get paid **** wages and do double duty after the cost cutting layoffs so the CEOs can make even more money.
I'm sorry I just can't answer your question, there are just too many choices.

Authoritarianism. added: R certainly, rich international locations (people who often include capitalism) have a lot cleanser environments than undesirable international locations. Ie. u.s. is lots cleanser than say, Zimbabwe. There are a pair of motives for this, sensible regulation and individuals do no longer % to stay in squalor. once you have funds it is much less complicated so which you will shelter the area around you. once you're undesirable, you opt for the money to stay to tell the tale and have much less funds to decrease pollution.

Honestly, [given your loaded choices] inequality. If we were all equal in every thing, what a dull and dead-end life.
I have abilities that you don't; you have some that I don't. We trade these (if we choose) under capitalism. What could be more benevolent and life promoting?

Yes genius. There are no wars, no inequality, environmental problems or lack of democracy (whatever that means) with other forms of gov't.
Go stand in line for bread.

I'd pick freedom. The Free enterprize system allows the most freedom. On the downside capitalism is all based on serving your fellow man. In that system you can only get paid for providing a service or product that other people actually want.
In other types of economies, dictators or bureaucrats decide what services are going to be provided and who is going to provide them. Freedom is way down the list of priorities.
Capitalism does produce excesses. Like more food than we really need and more comfortable life styles and longer lives. But you have to take the good with the bad.

You poor thing.
DO you think Communist China is an environmentalist paradise? Check this article about air pollution in Bejing...

Wanna talk about wars? Lots of third-world countries are involved in brutal wars, and not a corporate interest in sight...

Inequality? Industrialized "capitalist" countries have more legal protection for minorities and women than do 99% of the rest of the world...You want to go to Iran and campaign for women's rights??
You just sound like a loser who can't cut it in a real job, so you blame "capitalism" for your own lack of success.

The only redeeming quality of capitalism is that it brought the ultimate end to slavery. Capitalist corporate interests could not compete with free slave labor in the South, so a war for capitalism (as usual) began and that put an end to slavery. The slaves could then work in their factories as wage slaves AND they would also be good consumers! OK, so it did something good, but we'll all end up being slaves after all.: (

The best thing about capitalism is that it is a win win situation. Somebody needs something. A company sells what they need. The somebody gives money to the company in exchange for what they need. That somebody gets what they want and the company gets what it wants.
