Are there many woman in philosophy majors or PhD programs.?

Not as many as there are in English PhD programs but more than there are in Math PhD programs.

Out of the 15 philosophy classes that I took, only two were taught by women (and one was the single worst professor I ever had -- and I've had a lot of professors).

Yes. Many philosophy professors are women :)
