Why didn't he stic the Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil in Australia or Antarctica, instead of the middle of the Garden of Eden where Eve and Adam would be able to see it.
Is He just stupid, or some kind of mind games player like someone who gets a diabetic to work in a sweet shop?

Dammit you're right, we was framed! It was a set up! I mean if He's all powerful and all knowing and he made us knowing what we would do, then it wasn't our fault.
To suggest that at the moment of creation He did not know what would happen makes Him not so all powerful.
That just about does it for free will.

Actually you are referring to the old testament god, the one who had babies killed, women raped for fun and generally all round "wrath of" merchant, the one who had Moses and the chidren of Israel march around the desert for 40 years because they pissed him off and who finally turned into the all loving god of the new testament so with that one he could pretty much do what he wanted and you argued at your peril!

If people are to have a choice to do follow Him or not then this is a picture of it.
They had a choice which tree to eat of, and they evetually chose to do what hey were ordered not.

its like asking why didn't John McLean kill Hans at the start of Die Hard.... no story.
The story isn't supposed to be true, its the moral reasoning behind it

No it is nothing like you think. God created humans in his own image, but God also gave humans on distinct advantage over everyone else. That advantage: Free will. The fall of man and the first sin with the tree of knowledge came from man free will of choice. You have the ability to choose. You have the ability to believe and have faith. It is all in your choice. God is a all knowing and all loving God, but he loves us enough to let us choose to believe, have faith, and follow him.

He knew they would take of it , after all he is God. When this story was read to me I didn't understand why he would be angry and turn out Adam and Eve, but all through the Old Testament he seemed like a vengeful and a mean Spirit . This is probably why I still don't get off on Christianity so well.
(C.W) Don't worry so much about Heaven most of the people that have told me they know they are getting there I wouldn't want to be with them anyway.

It's not that he put it in the middle of the garden... it's just that he told Adam and Eve they CAN'T eat from it but they did anyways. Now the real question is if he didn't tell them anything about the tree would they still have eaten from it?
