Palliable cannot be found in a dictionary.
However, if you do a search from Dictionary.com's "web section" you will find a link to "metaplasm: a journal of metaplastic words." This blog notes:
palliable [pal-lahy-uh-buhl] –adjective 1. acceptable or agreeable to the mind because of its flexibility.
2. acceptable or agreeable because of its ability to be easily influenced or persuaded.
"metaplasm" further identifies a blogger who coined the word. The link leads to the blog of a high school theology teacher in Afghanistan.
A friend reported the definition and noted the link but it was removed.

Palliate means to relieve without curing, so I guess palliable means it is capable of being relieved without curing. The wards for terminal patients in hospitals are called palliative care wards. What those before mean is the word palatable!

"Palliable" doesn't seem to exist. However, the closest thing I was able to find was the verb "palliate"
pal·li·ate [pal-ee-eyt]
–verb (used with object), -at·ed, -at·ing.
1. to relieve or lessen without curing; mitigate; alleviate.
2. to try to mitigate or conceal the gravity of (an offense) by excuses, apologies, etc.; extenuate.

Hmmmm....no such word, perhaps you misunderstood.
Palpable - apparent, unmistakable, tangible
Pliable - compliant, bendable, docile
Malleable - adaptable, compliant, flexible

Hmmm.....I am wondering if you mean malleable? Malleable means the ability for someone to be molded (shaped) or for someone to be adaptable.
Palliative would be my second guess. This word means doing something to decrease the intensity or to make something better.
Hope that helps.
Also - I just read the first answer. Could you be meaning palatable? Something that can be eaten and has a pleasant taste....??

It means something tastes pleasant. Unlike 'potable', which means non-poisonous.
