Because I know more about the science of life than anyone ever has known, by my lights...and I'm still learning. Like everyone else.
I write too...and I need all the time I can get, because like everyone else I'm still getting better at that every year also. Now in ten thousand years--think what I could learn and accomplish!

no thanks, having to live my normal lifespan and watch society collapse is already too much, let alone watching everyone I love slowly fall away and have things I care about disappear from the world. That, and when the world ends, wouldn't I be left all alone? No, my expected lifespan suits me well, I don't fear the reaper

Thats not to say that I want to die, I'm just not afraid of it.
