Yes, even if it was your first you could still get pregnant. It doesn't matter how many times, whenever you have sex if you are menstruating you are fertile and could get pregnant.

If you did get your period after you had sex, even if it was a little late, chances are you didn't get pregnant. Some women who are pregnant still get a period although it is usually lighter and different than usual. It may have been a little late because you were worried as that can delay periods.

The other thing is - a lot of women have miscarriages and are never aware they were pregnant. When this happens, they have a heavier period than normal but it was actually a miscarriage and they aren't really even aware that it happened.

I'm not saying that is necessarily the case with you, but it is always a possibility..

the lumps were baby jebus! ohhhhhhh!!!!!

lol, it's actually kinda hard to get preg, even on the day you ovulate, with full internal ejaculation, your chances are never more than 33%. On your period, your chances are much, much less.

Yes you can get pregnant during your period, even if it is your first period. But since you have had a period since then I don't think you did get pregnant that time. The lumpy appearance you discribed is just clots and is normal. Please see a doctor or go to a clinic and get birthcontrol. Also if your partner and you are having sex during your period, he really needs to be wearing a condom, because not only is he exposing himself to vaginal secretions but also your blood, and this is not healthy.

ANY TIME you have sex, you risk the chance of pregnancy.

Pills, patch, shot, ring, period, after period, before period, it does not matter. You can get pregnant ANY time you have sex.
