I haven't heard a blatantly racist thing, including racial slurs, in many years in real life. However, I have seen lots of racism on the internet and occasionally in movies. So I know it's still out there. I live in Los Angeles, which is very culturally diverse. I believe how much racism you encounter can depend on where you live.

Not necessarily, but my friends constantly make racist jokes. They claim to be joking but I know that part of what they say is true. It's still something that people pick up from the media or have been passed down from their parents. It's really sad...

I'm in Malaysia. No one can be more racist than us Asians. But we practice it carefully so it doesn't elevate.
