IF you could change ONE thing about ANYTHING, what would you change. Please give a reasonable answer and think about all the good AND bad effects of it. Now immagine if this only lasted ONE YEAR and half of the human race would be eliminated afteer that one year with NO EXCEPTIONS.

I would have everyone accept God as their personal savior so that there would be more peace on earth and then when they die they will go to heaven. That would be beautiful and solve a lot of this world's problems......

Well, I would want people to seek logic and reason instead of fairy stories out of an ancient book to solve the world's problems. How different would our world be if even half the world just stopped believing in supernatural solutions and looked at things through the light of reason instead of superstition!
Think of how the world would change-the Middle East, the slaughters in Africa, the culture wars that go on every day in so many countries across the world would vanish. People would begin to see that this was the only life we have, the only world we have, and live with an eye to the future and the world they were giving to their children instead of hoping that a "rapture" or end would happen. They would stop looking at heaven and pay attention to the here and now and the legacy they leave behind. They would CARE more. Maybe they would care for each other more too.
This is the world I envision one day-a world without superstition but one that is better because humans are better.

I would walk away, if that was the price.
Many of the problems with the world is too many people want to solve problems and let someone else pay the price.
If this is the deal and it was real, the best would be for a brave soul to kill the powerful being and leave their head on a pike as a warning to the next seven generations that some favours come with too high a price.
