Depending on your age - 16 or over, you can visit your local planned parent hood or teen clinic and have an exam and ask for birth control.Your parents will not know, unless you use your insurance card, and even then it will only show up as an office visit.
I reccomend being honest and open, but if youve tried that route, and you still want to protect yourself, there are confidentiality laws in place that will not allow your parents access to such records.
for your local teen clinic and or planned parent hood, check your phone book or call your local teen center.
Good luck.

go to a gum local clinic, and tell them that you would like to get put onto birth control, and the nurse's there should prescribe you with a pack of free pills, condoms... ect and it should all b confidential so don't worry!

Well, at least you tried to talk to your Mom. I am disappointed that she won't help you. Not approving and not living in reality are two different things.
Number one, PLEASE PLEASE use a condom. That is preventing HIV,VD, etc. as well as pregnancy.
You can also buy sponges and or inserts with spermicide over the counter. Talk to a pharmacist who doesn't know Mom. They will help you.
But I have to agree with Planned Parenthood. You will get an exam, and bc pills.
Good luck and please be safe and smart.

first how old are you?
if you are in high school your school should have a teen health clinic if not. then make an appointment with a health clinic. make sure that it is a free clinic cause you might end up getting a prescription. a free clinic doesn't charge you for birth control or condoms. the others do. but still you should be honest with your mother on what is happening. although she may not be happy that you are thinking about having sex she may be happy you went to her about it. and that you are thinking safety first. make sure that when you do start using the birth control that you are still using condoms because birth control doesn't save you from std's or aid's or anything like that

I got it through planned parenthood when I first went on it- I had insurance under my parents and didn't want to use it- they will charge you based on your income

Why doesn't your mom want you on it?

Why do you want on it?

Complain about cramps and stuff.

She will find out. Mothers know, you know.

However try Planned Parenthood.
