I know that it is poosible for sociopaths to love because I read they were capable of loving someone close to them "in their own way ".

You know I passed this question by three times. The reason is that I have worked in mental health for many years and have worked with many sociopaths in the prison system, as a juvenile probation officer, and in addictions counseling. I know from the way that you are stating your question that you are in love with your sociopath, and have the fantasy that he's going to love you back. You need to read about the diagnosis for sociopaths in the DSM-IV which is the diagnostic manual for mental disorders. Then you should go to a psychologist and talk to them about your idea of convincing your sociopath to love you. See what he or she says, and listen with your heart as well your head. God I would like to say this in a more gentle way, but you are an idiot if you think this man is going to love you. You need to get out of there or spend many many years beating your head against a wall because, "there should be a door there." I also know that my message to you is absolutely wasted. You are in loveandt you're not going to listen to anybody who is not telling you what you want to hear. This is, strange as it may sound, meant lovingly. You have very long and very sad road ahead of you and any children you may bear along the way.

If he is a true sociopath, the only one he will care about is himself, you cannot MAKE anyone love you, no matter who they are. Sexual abuse does not make someone a sociopath either, although they might use that as an excuse to find an enabler.

you can't make a person love you, sociopath or "normal"

it just isn't possible!

the only person that you can make love someone else is you.

A group called Adult Children of Alcoholics could help too.

Well, just be nice to them, they need someone to just talk to every now and again. But nobody will listen to them.
