I'm a mum and I say don't judge the job by the first 48 hours or so. That's a really rough time to get through! My husband didn't stay much longer than that so I guess he gifted us and ran. My child is my greatest gift, endeavor, miracle, whatever you want to call it. Happy New Year!

I am a daughter and a mother with a daughter.
He didn't appreciate gifts.
It's ok, she's my gift to myself.

No not a parent. I am the oldest member of 4 siblings. My self-proclaimed role in my family is mother/sister due to the absence of our parents.

Yes my kids are the greatest gifts ever.
My son was born on mothers day and my daughter a few days before my birthday, so they REALLY are my gifts!!
