...your split w/ your husband only 5 days ago because he's abusive. I plan on give him another chance only AFTER the proper psychological treatment. Would I be completely unreasonable or wrong to go out and have a good time even I know I won't be and have no desire to cheat?

I want no other man, but I'd love to dance. Would that be asking for trouble if he happens to show up at the same club? Is that completely mean & unreaasonable if I've told him and have decided to give him another chance?

I wouldn't go back with him anyway, first the treatment might not be completely effective or lasting. Something could trigger those agressive feelings again...but that is your choice so i will let that point go.
no It is not wrong to go out dancing an have fun! I do see it going horribly wrong should your "man" see you out dancing with other men knowing you are going to get back together. You also need to stick to not cheating if you plan to go back to him because that in itself can cause all treatment to go down the drain or simply cause other issues in the relationship. Your best bet is to go out with the girls and have fun that way.
Tough situation, good luck to you!

I wouldn't give him any fuel to feed his fire. He could always accuse you, even tho you didn't cheat. Then the burden of proof would be on you to prove you didn't, and how could you do that?

no i dont think theres anyting wrong with that, as long as its only dancing, but, if he's abusive and see's you dancing with other guys, yes, he's going to whoop your a$$.
