He was born in my hometown of Morgantown, WV!
We have Don Knotts Boulevard
and a statue! He is our god!

He stole the spot-light on the Andy Griffis show, and helped to make the show easy to watch. The show put you in a relaxed mood, simething few shows are able to do anymore. Some call that corny, but to me it's better than murder and violence. "Mayberry is better than mayhem"
