Norton anti-virus also include anti-spyware. It work beter if they are integrated. When you boot up you machine, both anti-virus and anti-spyware are active.

The free one in Yahoo should be the same but minded the expiration day.

The other problem in Yahoo Free Package is that you may not be able to un-install it

The free Yahoo protection package IS Norton!! So when your paid subcrription expires...take advantage of it!

~But~

Yahoo only provides free anti-virus and firewall to members that use an ISP that partners with Yahoo to provide "Extras". Some of these partner ISPs are SBC, Rogers, BT, Verizon and ATT. Contact your ISP for information. You must download it separately. Ask your ISP.

The vast majority of Yahoo's members have free membership and receive no free A-V protection.

Have a Happy New Year. Stay sober tonight.
