Troy will be a good player and they should stick with him. They should trade the pick away and go to a spot where a good receiver is like Desean Jackson in my opinion.

Well they finally made the right move in firing Billick, the guy just simply wasnt getting the job done. I dont think that SB had anything to do with him, it had everything to do with his coordinators and the talent he had on defense. He was supposed to be this great offensive genius and he led one of the most anemic offenses in football for the last 9 yrs, the Ravens are abt 5 yrs to late on this.

As far as Troy Smith, how the hell has he proven that game was a fluke? He is garbage, he is barely backup material much less starter material. The problem is, there arent any QB's out there that look to be good enough to really be a solid starter. No one in the draft is going to be that great. Andre Woodson isnt going to be that good. I mean he has had just 1 good season in college thats it. Brian Brohm is a product of a system and one of the worst conferences in football (the BigEast), and Matt Ryan is not that great either but has the best chance of being decent. He hasnt impressed me much, especially playing in the ACC. So there isnt a QB worth taking that high in the draft IMO.

They need all kinds of help. They need a whole new receiving core, what they have now just isnt going to get it done, Derrick Mason should be a #3 at best. They need another RB to start a tandem with McGahee so he isnt out of gas in 4 yrs. They need a new offensive line. The defense is getting WAYYY to old and needs to be revamped. This team just is in bad shape right now....

The hitch in his passing and those handoffs makes it seem he thinks he is still playing Akron, Bowling Green and Kent State.

Most draft projections have Matt Ryan, Boston College, and Brian Brohm, Louisville, as the top two QBs on the board. Two QBs won't go in the top eight, so one or both will be there for the club.

Too early to tell - only the new coaching staff can make those assessments. If Matt Ryan is available, the Ravens ought to draft him and let Troy Smith run the team for '08.

The NFL is differentrom college. Also is recievers wern't the best. Tedd Ginn was his best reciever and is also having trouble. They need to give him a chance.
