Is it at your hip bone or like your butt? Well I used to shop at abercrombie but now their pants are too short or too wide for me. So I was looking at the size chart for Abercrombie and Fitch and it says my waist (24in) is size 00 or XS. But then I'm confused about my hips. Around my hip bones are 30in and my butt 32in. So which is it because I dont want to buy baggy pants. I can't go to a store and try them on because we don't live near their stores. We shop online.

Always measure the largest part of the pelvis, which is typically around the butt and tops of the thighs.

you ordinarily degree your hips around the widest area, that's certainly around the main important extension of your buttocks. I continually degree merely above the thigh bone. this continues to be your pelvis in case you probably did no longer comprehend. All clothing sizing charts use this length to verify your length.

Where you want your pants to sit (hip huggers), that's where you measure.
