Assuming the bounces go their way I would have to say Steelers have the best shot. even with their injuries they still have a potent defense and can take a better advantage of the Pats mistakes. Most of you picked a definite team to win against the Pats with facts about regualr season games which means almost nothing in the play-offs. Also most of the answers i've read seem to use that their team "WILL" beat the Pats when you have no idea how your team will do in the first round. This is a question about "what if" not who will defiantly win.

I really like the Jags in the AFC. I think they are playing excellent now.

the colts will use the blueprints that the ravens and eagles use and then they will beat them

All the teams in the AFC right now except the Steelers and the Jags. Even though the Pats blew by the Chargers, the Chargers were still adjusting to there new coaching staff and it was the second game of the season so the pats offense was still a surprise. Now everyone knows there weapons and there game plan. Also, the pats have been struggling against the run so if Mcgahee rushed for 125 yds, imagine what L.T. could do to them

If the weather is crappy, anyone could beat the Patriots, with or without bounces. But even with bad weather, as we saw in Baltimore, the bounces don't always go against the Patriots. I would say either San Diego or Indy. They both seem to have the right chemistry to school the Pats right now, but I wouldn't expect to see any sustained consistency from any of the other three teams. Too many holes--even with Jacksonville (I think DelRio takes too many risks for playoff success). The Patriots are a little too tight this year. But then again, I'm amazed at how well guys like A.J. Feeley and Kyle Boller played against the NE D, so you never know. That makes me think... San Diego?

Well ok I see the Titans losing in the first round. So contrary to what people think I say the Patriots will have a rough road. Come on the Steelers or Jaguars will be the first game, and then the Colts(unless the Chargers get past them) in the Conference Championship. In a fair game I honestly think the Patriots aren't likely to make the Superbowl.

I'm a very big Pats fan and the only team that has me worried are the Jags. The reason for this is that they have two running back who are power runners and it will be hard for our defence to stop both of them

Colts - toss out the earlier meeting, though it was a close loss...if the club gets healthy, it has the offensive firepower to match the Patriots and a defense that can keep the pressure on Brady.

both jaguars and colts have a chance colts have the best pass defense and have an offense that is very good especially now that harrison is back
jaguars suddenly became a good team and they are a big underdog...no one really expected jaguars to be highly ranked and they also beat the steelers and steelers was the team everyone thought was going to beat the pats
i say colts have a better chance though

Colts and Jax

I have to say though that Brady is really not that bad in bad weather. If my memory serves me right, about 3 or 4 yrs ago there was bad weather at Foxborough and the Patriots really whipped the Colts.
