That's an entertaining website. I wish we could slow down the birthrate or increase the death rate. Everything else would be fine if we just keep the numbers steady.

Though I am a firm believer in science and statistical knowledge much of the information is based on averages. Because of this a tremendous upheaval in one part of the world could set off a chain of events that would change the small events to become bigger and vice versa. For example one part of the world is showing a great increase in population. There's a 9.8 earthquake and wipes out 150,000 people. The country it occurred in was a major oil supplier and all the fields are ablaze from the lava erupting from the nearby volcano. The resultant increase in humidity in an area predominantly mountainous creates a hurricane 10 times as large as Katrina and causes 100's of billions of dollars damage on both the continents of North and South America. Need I go further?

No it does not scare me! i think this website is fun and entertaining but thats my opinion although you do have to be careful!
