Im sick and tired of styling my hair...I waiting for it to grow out in a month..but mean while..I dont know what to do with it!!!
Im 15 years old..my mom wears wigs with no problems..but I feel weird about it. I dont want any one comming up to me asking about my hair..I would flip out on them in a hot second lol
What would you think if u saw a 15 year old girl (i look like im 17-18 though) with a wig???

I wear wigs and I've worn wigs since I was 19. Yes, I had people come up to me and ask me about my wig. They still do and sometimes you can tell that it is a wig and they will still ask questions or make comments on it.
If you are going to have a problem with people saying something to you or even if someone made a nice compliment about your hair (wig), you need to not have feelings of insecurity like they are making fun of you but that they genuinely like your hair or your hairstyle b/c wigs are very stylish and look good all of the time if you know how to take good care of them.
Your mother is more mature and more experienced with wigs. First of all, do you have your mothers' permission to get a wig and number two, you are probably not ready for it unless there is a medical reason for it. Wigs tend to change your personality if you are not careful. Wigs are another accessory but can become a mask and it will tend to cause you to be different than your normal personality is b/c it can transform your appearance from plain to beautiful in a flash.
So be careful. If need be, try to learn how to style your hair and stay 15, not 17-18. lol
If you choose to wear the wig with your parents' permission, let me know how it turns out!!

Extensions are far more comfortable, and a human hair set costs around $100.00. I have the clip in kind when I want to make my hair fuller. There is also the option of a clip on fall or 3/4 and you have your own hair around your face. I only use full wigs if I want to change the color to red or black. Then I pick one that has a natural part. (It looks like real skin) But, wigs are hot and uncomfortable and don't let your hair and scalp breathe. Also, any that look natural with any length even the ones that are not human hair at in the $250-$400 range. Human hair ones are in the thousands.

Ask your stylist for advice. beacuse think about 15 yr old with a wig??? Not a good combonation. There is a vitamin you can take to make your hair grow. Its calledd Biotin. My cousin used it and her hair is now long and thick. My doctor also recomended it for me so its not offbrand/ generic. Even if you wear a wig you will still have to do something with your hair because it can become matted and you would have to shave it off or cut alot of it

I doubt I would care at all, the world is not all about you and your hair after all. I suppose one might think you have cancer or something, but here in my neighborhood, everyone wears wigs if they are too lazy to fix their hair. I am more shocked when they don't wear the wigs! they are nasty looking.

You could'nt tell if you were wearing a wig, if it was properly fixed.
You can buy wigs made of natural hair...have you thought about hair extensions?
I was thinking of wearing a wig too...I hate styling my hair, plus it gets messed up when you step outside and the wind blows in the wrong direction.loll XD
@ least w/ a wig, it will stay put..unless someone trys to rip it out literally...that would hurt :O

I don't think you'd like wearing a wig. they don't feel natural and yes, you have to worry about it looking artificial and coming off.
as for styling your hair, why not just let it be and see what happens? sometimes young people are way too obsessed with what their hair does and with wanting to change it. if it's curly, we want it straight; if it's short, we want it long; if it's dark, we want to be blonde. nature gives us hair; be grateful and enjoy its natural glory.

There's wigs that you wouldn't be able to tell if it's your hair or not. Try them on first and see how you look and feel. Good Luck!
