Do you make new years resolutions?

I don't - I most likely wouldn't keep such a promise anyways, and why should I engage in such seriousness on such a festive holiday?
This is one of the times of the year I plan on getting F*CKED UP...*big time* - not waxing poetic about the previous year, nor sitting around looking with optimism at the coming one while making stupid resolutions.

If I need to change a habit, accomplish something or whatever, then I'll do that when I need to, not because I make a drunken promise at a party or because a holiday rolls around.

I don't because I'll either break it, forget about it, or be done with it within a couple months

I did this year - I don't always. My life has been a little crazy lately, since I've recently gone through the illness and death of one of my parents and a lot of surrounding chaos. Therefore, I wanted to set myself out on a new path. I don't see it as a negative - this wasn't one of those resolutions to lose weight or get my finances in order or anything else which would frustrate me. I resolved to live more elegantly this year - to do less, but do it better.

No i don't... i don't see the point of it.. A new year doesn't change anything accept for the date and year. Otherwise i don't see why i should care for it or why i should be happy about it.. Any other day for me. I like your reason for NOT having a new years resolution, i couldn't have said it better.

I don't. I stopped when I was about 7. I never kept them and it was always annoying when I got let down. So I stopped. The last thing I need in my life it more letdowns and heartaches.
