No, my grandparents have been married for 55 years and my parents for 28 so I do believe it can work if it's between two people who were meant for each other. They have all had their problems over the years but if you love the person, you work it out.

People seem to forget what they did to get the other person and after they get them they don't feel that they have to continue doing it. Also, people are not showing their true selves to the person that they married from the beginning and the true monster suddenly appears. The thing that people tend to forget is that the same thing that attracted them to the person they are with is still there but you have to turn back into the boyfriend or girlfriend you where while you where dating to see that attraction appear again.

if you don't let the lines of communication break down or don't forget to take time to listen to your spouse.of you make sure they know you always care,no matter how small a problem may be.and if you don't let an argument go on too long.but that's just my opinion.i think if you follow these things a marriage will not turn to crap

Some people get married when they are teenagers and it gets better with time some people find out after awhile that they are just no longer in love or compatible.

if one or both are unwilling to work hard at making a marriage good, then yes. but if both are willing to put in the effort any marriage requires, than no. hard work in a marriage = a good marriage.
