I can name the 50 American states, and most of the Capital cities, so it's only fair that you know the 13 of ours.

And actually name them, without looking. :¬)

Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec (the french one), Nova Scotia, Newfoundland. The territories are the Yukon, NW territories and Nunavute (I think that's how it's spelt?) Oh and there is also the little island named after Prince Edward! I think there are some othes, but I'm not sure.

The cities I know without looking are Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Edmonton (they got that big mall there), Halifax, Calgary and that's all I know for cities.

I think I know a lot for someone from Alabama, haha.

BTW, why are Canadians so obsessed with asking this question? I see it all the time. I'm not sure why y'all so concerned with us knowing your provinces or not.

Yes. I was taught the mnemonic BASMOQ in middle school for British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Quebec... then there are the maritime provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.... and then Newfoundland. The territories used to be Yukon and Northwestern when I first learned them, but now there is also Nunavut which used to be a part of the Northwestern Territory (which, I think, consists of mostly native peoples). We had to pass a test identifying Canadian Provinces & Territories, as well as all countries in Central & South America.
