Is it really his fault that they have been losing? I mean I understand that to a certain degree it might be partly his fault because he is the "coach". But seriously, is it really on him that when the Ravens play offence, its terrible most of the time?. After all, the coach did take them to a Super Bowl win and a great season in 2000 and Super Bowl in 2001.

Yes crabberg I agree, at least keep the football spirit in Baltimore alive. Because Baseball-the Orioles is bad right now, and I mean bad.

And if the coach tells the team to do something, and then they go out their and do something diffrent, then how is it his fault. Of course they are going to try and point fingers directly at him. I still dont think its completely his fault. Their defence is good. But their offence is terrible. They dont even have a actual quarterback, they have a sit-in quarterback.

the ravens fired billick. he was a great coach, but he's getting just way too old for the job, and look how long he's been there -- quite some time. i think it's good to get new people in---the same coaches can get old after a while. if you're from baltimore like myself, all you want to do is win a football game. last night was a close call, but hey we won. the guy who fired him just felt it was the best thing to do because he was sick of seeing us losing and wants to keep the baltimore spirit alive for football--because baseball is a joke.

Billick should absolutely lose his job! There is no doubt that in his time there they have had some truly great defenses such at the 2000 superbowl champs who are probably the best defense ever! I am a steelers fan saying that. The coaching staff lost that game last night and the team isn't even backing him up anymore and when you have lost the respect and loyalty of your players you have nothing. Granted he coached a 13-3 team last year with a fairly easy schedule but the best quarterback he has had in Baltimore is Trent Dilfer. When you are calling Trent Dilfer the best quarterback in any franchises history you really need to re-evaluate. Billick should be gone!

Billick was hired as an offensive guru, and the Ravnes have been pretty awful of offense most of his tenure. Who else are they going to blame?

The loss to Miami and an offense that cannot move the ball well against a decent high-school defense doomed Billick. And the Ravens defense is aging seemingly all at once....this is a major rebuilding project ahead for the next coaching staff. In sports, the past is ancient history...this team is going nowhere fast under the coaching staff that has been in place.

Yes, he should have been let go a long time ago. He is supposed to be the offensive guru but he won with defense and he never developed any QB after the Superbowl win.

Yes he deserves to be fired. The man is a total asshole. It was Switzers team he took to the SB, only thing he needed to do was not F it up, which he did. Ravens are the worst team in the league, even Miami is better.
