They want to be trated as normal in American Society...but all respect should be given to their ways and traditions, as they keep them, abroad. And, from experience, they do keep them!!!!

If you mean Irish tourists, they are regarded as sympathetic, alive and funny people in my country (Greece) and very different to the British.
