in view which you're taking the 28 day %. you will desire to stay to tell the tale 4 week cycle. you may pass the sugar pills yet wait each and every week till you initiate a sparkling %.. The 28 day %. disburses the medicine in any different case than a 21 day %.. they are designed for individuals who choose a era each and each month. you will desire to end out the packs you have like scheduled. in case you do no longer % to have a era each and each month, then change to a distinctive pill like Seasonale. you purely have 3 classes a year.

Get the OK from your DOCTOR before messing with prescription drugs.
Even if you skip the placebos it does not mean you will skip your period. You could still have it.
I did this once and it took months for my cycle to get back on track.

If you skip the placebo pills, but don't take any pills at all, you will still get a period.
Since your pill is a triphasic (3 different doses during one month) you can't just start a new pack to delay your period. The first pills in the new pack are the weakest ones, so there would still be a drop in hormones and that would trigger a bleed.
However, you could delay your period by a week by just taking the last week of pills in a new pack. (the first 2 weeks would then be useless)
If you would like to delay your period more often, then talk to your doctor about getting a monophasic pill. it is the same strength all the way throughn. Many women take these kind for 12 weeks on and then stop for 1 week. With no ill effects.

Doctors don't usually recommend this when on tri-phasic or 3 different dosed pill packs, consult your dr. first.

I did this a lot during the 6yrs I was on it. Just take the first pill in your new pack the day you should start your placebos. It is as easy as that. Be c areful not to do it too much because some states only allow you to have 14 packs per year so then you end up messed up right before your yearly checkup.

yes, you will have to start a new pack of birth control pills....but if you take the placebo or don't take the placebo (and take nothing) you will start.
