I would say clean your room. I hated my teenage daughter's room when she was home! Clothes everywhere I didn't know what was clean and what was dirty!
Be nice to the parents and clean then room. Who knows what really brings luck!?!?!?!

or perhaps just clean it because it needs to be cleaned. it will only bring luck if you're superstitious. you'll never know if your good fortune was brought by having a clean room, right?

Why not? There are worse ways to start a new year than with a nice sparkling clean room.
Or you could just clean now, then join your family or a few friends for a bit of a party without that hanging over your head.

It is nice to have a clean room but seriously do you think it brings you luck? Although if you are walking through your room in the dark and you trip on something you left on the floor you may think differently!!

I never heard that before and I have grown children who I never told this too. My room need an overhaul as I am a neat housekeeper, except my bedroom. Maybe that's what's wrong with us. lol Hey, it sure couldn't hurt;-)
