Not necessarily. Obama is the youngest of the candidates and a lot of the over 60's are going to be thinking, "Such a nice looking boy....."

I don't think you men understand we women as well as you think you do.

As a woman over 50 I talk to a lot of other women over 50 and we absolutely hate Hilary. We would sooner elect a potted plant than her. Obama is too young and inexperienced and doesn't seem to have anything original to say. So, my gal friends and I will vote for Edwards. We liked him last time and he gets better with age.

No way to judge yet. There's way too many variables and too much time before election. Let's see what happens in Iowa, New Hampshire & S Carolina. That'll be the tip-off for the entire election; Democrat or Republican.

I will remain liberal, but I am 17...anyway, I don't support any pro-war candidate.

Hm... It's true the over 50 female crowd has a much higher turnout rate than the under 45 crowd.
Yer probly right, unless something changes between now and then.

If this were the only issue yes a slam dunk. When us baby boomers realize collectively that we are quite a large voting block then we will have the power to make sure we are taken seriously. The Congress and all past presidents have squandered our social security funds and have not found a rational solution yet. The time is coming up fast for my generation to start retiring so I want to know what the plans are.
