I cant send messages or make happy new year calls from my mobile! Anyone else on other networks experiencing this too? I'm on 02! Happy 2008 everyone! x

hiya honey!! i am on o2 as well, it has taken me til now to send texts just to family... constant fail, fail, fail. (but i was lucky, kept perservering, and the odd one was getting through)
never mind, i suggest everyone turns their phones off when going to bed tonight.. or they will all be going off through the early hours, when the messages finally get through!

I can't answer for O2 but texts were sending and being received fine at midnight on Vodafone. I sent and received texts and made and received calls without any major headaches at all. I didn't even receive any duplicate messages, which I know has happened in the past.

I don't have a mobile phone, but my brother has had trouble sending messages, and he's an Orange customer.

The same with me and I'm on Orange. Ah well, they'll get their text at 7am!
All the texts will say the same thing:
'' Happy New Year! Hope you aren't too drunk! Have fun! Bye! ''
Something along those lines!

I sent my messages 2 mins before midnight!!! They got through ok then (I'm on Virgin mobile) tried ringing my mum but can't get through so it'll have to wait till later (9 o'clock!!) Happy New Year xx
