I want to be an actor what should I do (please read on)?

Ive decided Im going to college and want to study law but I also want to become an actor so I want to get into any school productions or plays. Is it possible to study law and acting at once.
If you believe it would be complicated should I just stick with acting?

hi am a casting director and i know what you mean. When i was in school i wanted to do acting and construction. so i asked the same question and I'll tell you what i found out in my life time as an casting director. when you go to audition for a movie the we don't look for who's got a degree in acting we don't Evan care who has and who has not. all we care about is that if you look the roll and can you act the roll. I did BETC National Diploma in Acting in college just to give me an idea in how to audition but i did Construction in university and got a degree. but i only got the degree to be on the safe side. what that means is that if i don't have any success in acting i can go and get a good job with my construction degree. and their is not many good jobs that you can get with a acting degree.

Rachael is right. Both are too hard to try at the same time. If you become a lawyer, you may develop a kind of practice that will allow you to try acting later on.

uh I think that might be a little complicated because you can change your major but you still have to graduate with one.

You can take acting courses

As a lawyer you stand a chance of getting into show biz

Then negociate yourself into a small role in a picture!
