My father was 47 years old when they adopted me. My mother was 37, I believe. Mom died when I was 13 and Dad's on his way out (I'm almost 20). No one thinks of that. Parents that old think that children will make them younger. They forget that they still die... Why would you make your children suffer from your death they weren't ready for? It sucks to be the only one of anyone my age without parents.

When abortion was first legalized we did not have the science available to the average person that could really inform and show the life cycle of an embryo. But now with microscopic cameras filming each embryo life cycle from within the mothers womb and access to the information at our fingertips through the internet with live images how can anyone continue to say that this is not a human life? There is truly no excuse. You would have to be blind not to see that this is a human life. Call abortion what it really is, a convenient method for women to not have to live with their mistakes. The following is a statistical quote from the Guttmacher Institute. On average, women give four reasons for choosing abortion. Three-fourths of women cite concern for or responsibility to other individuals; three-fourths say they cannot afford a child; three-fourths say that having a baby would interfere with work, school or the ability to care for dependents; and half say they do not want to be a single parent or are having problems with their husband or partner.[12]

I think women need to stop judging each other. I'm 22 and married. I have a 2 year old and I'm pregnant.... BY CHOICE. And I hate getting looked down upon because I'm young. My family is fine the way it is and my husband and I can support children just fine.
The same for older pregnant moms. I'm sure they don't like being looked down upon because they're having children later.
There are pros and cons to both and I think everyone should just mind their own business. As long as someones a good parent, it doesn't matter what their age is.

It's their opinion. Maybe they didn't want kids until that age. Everyone has a life story

They are selfish. I understand their want for a child, but they will not have the energy required to enjoy time with their children nor will they be able to keep up with changing times.

It's up to them...but good luck to you and your aging bodies when you have to stay up al night with an irrationally frightened kid or a sick one.
The human body handles that better in it's 20's.

Its every parents prerogative to screw up their kids in their own particular way. Having a graduation/retirement party the same day isnt all that bad. Although having dead parents before you can make your own kids is pretty scary, and makes for a really small family.

I think its their choice. And as long as they are healthy I don't see a problem with it. Its like asking why people have children in their teens. Nobody knows. Its just a number.
