How old do you think is "too old" to have a kid?

If you have older parents, were you embarrassed if people thought they were your grandparents?

My mom had me at 42. It's not so much that is was embarrassing, but rather a little difficult. The were older, and didn't have the energy to do things with me that kids with younger parents did. I had a few much older siblings, and it bummed me out a little not to have anyone close to my age. So, I was never really close with them.

over 40 - then the age gap is might be too big between parents and children so that there is enough understanding so that everyone feels included and their ideas accepted.

My own mom was born when my grandmother was 42. So, as long as a woman is healthy and of sound mind to care for a child, then so be it. But I think it's getting chancy after age 45.

45 for a woman! maybe it could be younger, you don't want the kids to loose their parents though because they were so old when they had them! so if you are in good health, then go have kids!<3

When you have to change each other's diapers. lol Seriously, no later than 40, but that's just my opinion. I had my daughter when I was 33.

I think it depends on the person, my sister in law was 46 and had one and she looks like she is 35. And some early thirty somethings look like they are 50.
