There's first time for everything. Is this the only school you applied to? When I was in high school, I applied to four different universities. Two were the ones I really wanted to get in, the other two were my "safe" school, just in case I got rejected. Fortunately, I got accepted to all four.
My friend got rejected to the school of his choice, kind of like his "dream" school. He worked so hard, had the GPA, the SATs, all the stats, but he still got rejected. Keep in mind that it's competitive out there, most of your competitions have the same stats as you, the GPA, SATs, etc. He did try to appeal the decision, waited for a month, and he was still declined acceptance. Good thing he applied to some "safe" schools as well, the ones he knew he had a guaranteed acceptance. Disappointed, he was. Did he get over it? Absolutely.

You certainly can contact them to see if they can articulate why you were denied admissions, but it's highly unlikely any sort of appeal can be mounted.
Someone else had a good idea...put it in the context of what can you do to strengthen your credentials so that you can apply as a transfer student.
Otherwise, you may have to move on. I have heard many people tell of being turned down from their first-choice schools, attending another, and in retrospect wondering what they saw in the first school in the first place. ie they became so comfortable, happy with the "second"-choice school.

Each college or universities has a board of directors or something similar which you can appeal too. Can the registars office and see the policy of how to go about appealing the decision.
It can be very challenging to appeal the admission decision however.

Sorry, but you will probably have to. Very few decisions are ever reversed on appeal. No college HAS to accept any student for any reason (other than discrimination in legally-protected categories).

You can't. Deal with it. College admissions is not a negotiation process. You can, however, ask to speak to an admissions counselor or the Dean of Admissions (it really depends on how the schools admissions office works) and tell them you'd like to apply again next year/semester. Ask what you can do to strengthen your application- they might provide insight into areas that you could improve on to get in next semester (i.e. go to a community college or another school and take another math course and get a good grade, retake the SATs....)
