Yes, my father and all of my uncles were in the Korean conflict, my grandfather was in WWII, and my son-in-law is in Iraq, his brother is home on leave. And I am proud of every one of them.

I know a lot of people who have served their country...
and even though I have never served in the military I have always supported them from the homefront....

Plenty in my family have served including my father & brother and currently we a have a nephew serving as diplomatic security around the globe.

My brother did a tour in Baghdad and Kuwait with the National Guard as a sharpshooter. For some reason, I don't think I will ask him to share much of his experience, but I still pray for him even though he's home with his wife and a daddy now.
He's 24.

I haven't served.My father served in ther Air Force for 23 and so did my uncle. My best friend Bobby B. has been in the Navy 17 years and my nephew has served in the Navy for 4 years. I know many people who serve because I live in a military community. I am three minutes away from LAFB and 20 minutes fro Norffolk Naval Base in Virginia.
