Keep Anderson

Trade Quinn for a few decent players, he is too good to at least not be given a shot...And there are plenty of teams that need a QB.....

Here is my take:
Arm- Anderson
Athleticism- Quinn
Experience- Anderson
Untangibles~ Quinn
Football Player~ Quinn

Quinn wins 3 to 2, sign Anderson to a deal that is affordable that another team will most likely top, either match or take the first and third round picks that come with the deal. I think they win with Quinn. Jurevicious says Anderson (purely political) and WInslow says Quinn (dead honesty)...

They should trade one of them. Who it is, I don't know. It doesn't seem right to draft someone in the 1st round and not give them a couple games to prove themselves.

Trade Anderson and get some picks. And start Quinn. The Browns gave up way to much to not start Quinn. Anderson's trade value now is pretty good. You could get some nice picks in the draft.

Should? Well, Derek most certainly did enough to be the incumbent for next year with Brady challenging. Given signing bonuses these days, though, I'm expecting Derek to receive the highest restricted free agent tender offer in the off season. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody bit on him, some QB needy team like the Ravens, and the Browns would let it happen to prevent a future controversy and reap the benefits of a first and third rounder.

Seen this before with San Diego and Drew Brees. If Anderson wants too much money, they should let him go and keep Quinn.

Well, even though I'm a fan of ND and Brady Quinn, I think the Browns should plan on Derek Anderson being the starter going into next season, but it wouldn't hurt to keep Quinn around long enough to make sure Anderson wasn't just a 1 year wonder...If Anderson is solid next season, they can trade Quinn before the deadline...If it looks like Anderson is a flop, they can trade Anderson...

Derek Anderson... he's almost just as young, but has actually proved himself.

anderson should be, but it WILL be Quinn - maybe not next year, but they year after. They have too much invested in him and can't carry two high priced QB's (Anderson isn't high priced yet, but he will be)
