I just bought my first (Technically second) skateboard and am trying to learn it ? What will i get me on my way.. tips ?
and are tehre any sites i can look for direction and instructions?

First, your going to need to learn to roll around comfortably. Second, learn to ollie on carpet, then learn it while moving. Learn to ollie up curbs... Try Tony Hawks Trick Tips (videos) that may help if you can't find someone to help you. The best thing to do would be to find some cool who will watch you do something and tell you what you are doing wrong. Skateboarding isn't something most people just go out and do, it takes a lot of time and practice. Good Luck...
