contrary to cartoons a turtle cannot leave its shell. the turtle's backbone and ribs are fused with the shell. it just takes a close look at a turtle to see this.

The question is why is your body attatched to your skin same reason why a turtle skin is attatched to it because it was born with it........this is my pet turtle

Nope, you see the shell also contains the backbone, which supports the turtles insides. Where the shell meets the skin the two are fused together.
