Where he might end up is anyone's guess but he is certainly smart enough to be a coach. Many former players make lousy coaches because they are physically freaks of nature who cannot always relate well to less gifted athletes (and every team has tons on non-superstars). Manning, with his heavy dos of humility, good sense and will to win using all members of his offense may very be the exception to that sad rule. In the meantime, watch him light it up for a few more years.

I don't think so. Watching Peyton call in plays to Sorgi and then punt 3 straight drives makes me think that he is a great QB but not coach.

I'm not sure. He often audibles when the play is on the line.

Could you imagine him 5 seconds before the play clock ends telling his QB to change the play?

Yes he would be a great coach and make his qb as good as he was.Maybe not as good but pretty good. I hope that Tom Brady will also become a coach one day and battle against Peytons team!
