I don't know what they do in Asia, but that's straight out child molestation here. Think about it. How would you explain that to a judge.

H3ll yea that's child molestation! That's a good excuse-"to make the child fall asleep"-my @ss! Give me a break. Eleven years old. At eleven I was playing full out tackle football and chasing the girls. I knew what was what. She's got to be screwing up that kids mind at the same time getting off. If that's not molestation I give up. Just like eagleman said, "explain that to a judge".

Agreed. It's not a laughing matter. The people who think so are no doubt suffering from some lack of sense that is beyond me. "haha that guy down the street is a pedo he touches kids" <--- does that look funny or twisted? Let's say we're talking about any not well known person. Whether this person did in fact commit the act or not, it's disgusting, to say the least, to make a joke about the matter. It's a way for the haters to bully MJ and his fans. They know he's innocent. They just want to piss off or hurt other people. What a pity.

It is not child abuse or child molestation. Many countries have many varying differences from the United States. As Americans we are not used to seeing such behavior, but it doesn't mean that in other countries it doesn't happen.
We are not the ultimate authority on child rearing. It is a cultural thing and nothing more. Perfectly acceptable in some countries. It is not mental imbalance. The child will eventually stop.

oh, my that is so wrong!!!
and yes, the mother should have said no, and taught that child from what's right and wrong!
and as a start, I think that's what needs to be done before having the kid checked out.
and I would not think it's a cultural thing!!! that's just too disturbing!

It's not really child molestation, especially since it's involving the parent. You could argue it as child abuse somewhat, but more than anything else, it's infantilism. The parent should not have babied that kid so much, obviously the parents failed to do their jobs correctly. I don't think there's grounds her for any charges though, but maybe it's time for the parents to get a reality check and the kid needs to grow up.

A bit old I would say. Needs to stop. As far as your question, good luck. The laws vary and that's a tricky situation there.

It is the parents fault for letting it go on for too long. It's not molestation specifically but it could be interpretted that way by many many people. It is definitely a problem and needs to stop.

That is disturbing that a mother would let this continue. She should have gotten counseling and therapy when this continued after infancy. I seriously doubt it is cultural. I nanny for two boy 9 and 7. Every once in a while one of the boys will try to touch my breasts. I tell them that it isn't proper to be touching me since they are getting to be big boys. I have been with them ever since they were babies and look to me for comfort, so I never try to embarrass them or make it seem dirty.

That's a very strange thing. The kid should be taken for a mental evaluation.
