on some holidays or if there is a problem at your local post office like power outage or something like that but if you really need to know about this look it up on the net you seem to have time to do that google should have something for you.....good luck

Mail delivery depends on the area in which you live. It seems no mail is delivered on Sundays. Areas in which I have lived, mail was not delivered on federal holidays; some not delivered on state or country holidays; some not delivered on Saturdays. In some rural areas, mail was delivered only once a week but during holiday seasons twice a week.

yeah my mom works for the post office and any federal or government holiday mail wont be delivered.

Well if mail is not delivered on Saturdays it is certainly not every where. Becauase I get mail on saturdays. Otherwise it is federal holidays. (Christmas being one)
