Only if their defense plays as well as it did against the Patriots. I don't think Coughlin wants to rely on Eli bringing the Giants from behind in the fourth quarter. That's when Eli feels the pressure and starts forcing the ball to receivers who are covered.

If the Giants run the ball well with Jacobs and utilize the short and medium passing game so that the line doesn't have to pass protect forever each time Eli passes, then the Giants will do well. If the Giants have the lead in the second half, play action becomes even more devastating as the safeties cheat up to stop the run. It's very easy to imagine Toomer burning the cornerback who expects help from the safety who has bitten on the play action.

I'm a Patriots fan, and I was extremely impressed with the Giants defensive line and their pass rush. The Giants are a dark horse who are more than capable of beating any NFC team so long as it isn't a shootout with Favre or Romo.

something can ensue. The Giants performed great against the Patriots a pair weeks in the past and the Patriots did not play so nicely that interest nevertheless. for my section i've got faith if the Patriots protection can step up their interest then the Pats could win, in the event that they'd tension Manning then he won't stand a good number of a great gamble, yet howdy something can ensue.

It's doubtful... they had 4 players injured in the game with the Patriots, I don't think they can make it out of the first round of the playoffs.

We all thought the Eagles would make a run after almost sticking with New England.

That didn't happen, plus the Giants have an injured center. They'll lose.

no, they blew their wad already against NE.

meanwhile, Gruden has been resting players for 2 weeks preparing for NY and not worrying about games that mean nothing.

of course, the world would have been up in arms if NY laid down like TB, IND, DAL, and SEA did yesterday. it's ok for them but no for us.

I am assuming you mean the Giants. I actually think they can win a game or two. They lost to the Past but they played them very tough. A few injuries to opponents, a full recovery by Plax, an out-of-body great game from Eli and they could very well get another shot at the Pats. Don't understimate Strahan's desire to go out big.
