It has to be the Bugatti Veyron for the time being but I believe the yanks have a car in production that will be faster.

Its the bugatti veyron,soon will be the new TKR but this car has not been released yet.
The veyron goes 253 mph but this is restricted so god knows what it will do de-restricted.It will get your caravan to site pretty dam quick.

If we are talking afFORDable cars, then it must be the Capri 3 lr, the worlds first Production Super Car that is able to exceed 150mph. Closely followed by the 2.8 Capri. I've had 140mph out of mine - on a European Space Shuttle Emergency Runway I might add.

i would have to say the fords have the fastest cars you have the shelbys rousch, the cobras all fast. they are fast enough to put the smile on the back of your head

The Bugatti Veyron may no longer be the world's fastest car. Today — following a number of teasers and leaks — Barabus officially unveiled the TKR: a new 1005 horsepower supercar the automaker says is capable of doing zero to 60 mph in 1.67 seconds. What's more, the car reportedly has a top speed of 270 mph — nearly 20 more than the Veyron.
