Is it better for a older person to sacrifice for a younger person or a younger person to sacrifice for an older person.

That would certainly depend upon the situation as there are many people I would step under a bus for if it would save them, my children at the top of the list, but some people I just wouldnt be bothered with and their life is no more important than mine regardless of the age. So I think it depends upon the situation and the people

i think its better for an older person to sacrafice a younger persons life because the younger persons life didnt last that long when the older persons life lasted longer then the youngers. Thats why you see it in alot of movies.

Depends on who else is involved. Might be better in some cases to have one or the other around.

If by 'better' you mean, does it make more sense...then yes. The older person has experienced more life...the younger person hasn't had the chance to live to their potential yet.
