Flush it with the engine running to get out any old coolant in the block and heads.

The rest is still sitting in the engine, heater core lines and Transmission lines ect. You can try forced air from the thermostat opening. I've never gotten the whole amount to drain from any vehicle. That is why it is important to never let it get real bad. Having a professional flush ever 3 years is very wise in between the home changing.

You only drained the system. If you installed a flushing T and had a hose hooked up to it and flushed the system out, you would have to put straight antifreeze in until the right protection level. You never get all the old antifreeze or water from flushing out. The complete system capacity holds what the specs say, you just don't ever have a completely empty system.

The rest is in the block, you can not drain the total system.
