go with the jeep. less maintainance than the dodge. work in a garage, service bills much higher on the dodge.

Price differance look for millage ,size of moter6 or 8 cyllinder,allso gas consuption litter per 100km. Do you need extra cargo space if so go durango.I have 2001 grand cheroke with 180000 km &the wife loves it ,in northern ontario , allso grand cherokee has a better resalle value.How much asking price & millage?I can say for sure the quallity is wath you pay for, the only thing i replaced in 7 years is tiers,hope this helps you out,Chich.

The Grand Cherokee is more desirable so it will have a better resale value.

i would have to say the dodge durango but then again that might be because i have a 2004 durango

They both suck a lot of gas. If money is not an issue, go for the Dodge, at least you are getting newer technology and a better ride. Buy the Jeep if you want to beat it off road.

unfortunately there both from the chrysler co. however the jeep is the better way to go. more reliable. better features.
smoother ride. durango have had some suspension issues in the past.
