You are much prettier; you friend looks a bit like a freak. I think she's taken the punk/goth thing a bit too far unless she's a professional musician or something. You have gorgeous eyes, lips and eyebrows! While I think you're beautiful as you are, if you got your hair cut into layers and blown out and got contacts you would give any girl a run for their money! An it's easy to say you shouldn't compare yourself to others; but we ALL do!~

#2 is obviously pulled off the net but you guys are pretty in different ways. The Scene girl is pretty, but she spends hours and hours dying her hair, straightening her hair, crimping her hair, painting on her make-up, etc. You certainly aren't wearing any makeup and you are much younger than her. Give it some time. You will be just as pretty soon.
