i'd recommend an edelbrock intake manifold, and some headers for starters, good luck,

It plenty heavy enough. There's a problem with the transmission. The 350 is a better trans than the metric. Have a trans shop look it over. If it won't go into any gear, Reverse, Drive, any, then you have a linkage problem. If it goes into gear but won't move then one of the clutch packs is burned up. Is the fluid clean and at the proper level? Good Luck.

trust me, sell that 350 and drop a 305 into your truck. with gas prices going up & up & up, if your 350 has a 4bbl on it, chunk it. Be smart, not cooool.

The first question you have to ask is how much money you want to spend. More money equals more hores power. For starters a good intake will help. If its carbuerated replace it with one that works with the intake. A good set of headers and exhaust work well as well. If you want to rebuild the engine you can change the cam shaft. That will give you more options of power levels. I hope this helps you get started.
