Last night at 9pm I drank just a half shot of rum and I went to sleep a half hour later. I slept until 2:30 this afternoon (15 hours). I was in a VERY DEEP sleep. I had multiple dreams that were nightmares. I had dream after dream in the same night while I was sleeping. I woke up at about 7am feeling really tired and hot (I was sweating with my bed wet). I woke up again and went back to sleep. I feel really sick. I feel dizzy, I head is spinning, My vision is blurry, Im not as sharp, i still feel negative effects from the alcohol. Please help me. I feel BAD. What should I do. I want to get back to normal.

It sounds like you have a virus that most likely is attached to your mental/nervous system. Aggravating parasite is this friend you found, but try not to worry because you will learn to live with it. It will never kill you, and it will make you very uncomfortable from time to time, but the good thing about this virus is that it is dead against allowing other viruses to host in it's home. Just like herpes, it is very protective of the place it lives, and HATES to be disturbed. As when you drink alcohol, this can really get it angry, forcing it to shake you up abit.
As we go along through life, our 'NORMAL' will constantly change. Don't torture your peace of mind by chasing what you once thought of as normal. Accept life's many challenges, it will make you a much stronger person. Happy New Year!

Had you taken any medication previously? Had you left your drink unattended? I'd say if your still feeling that bad after that long go see your local hospital just to make sure everything is ok.Maybe your dehidrated

You must not drink much...some people have low tolerance but wow half a shot that may be something else that's making you sick. If it is a hangover you should just drink a lot of water and take some tylenol/aspirin. Depending on your age it will take 1-2 days usually for a hangover to go away, the younger you are the less time it takes. Most people I think feel better later in the day after they drank.

well. it dosent seem like you drank enough alcohol to really make anyone sick (half a shot?) so maybe you were already sick and the alcohol triggered something?
drink some water, eat a real meal, take a walk and get some fresh air, see how you feel. if you still feel like ****, think about seeing a docter

Why does that sound like a hang over? Maybe you have low tolerance of alcohol.
