I'm not sure if it's a fuse or actual light bulb.

it's a 97 ford explorer sport. Half of my lights went out. the fuel side. the other half is still on.

if some lights are on it's not a fuse I wouldn't think, I would say that the bulbs are burnt out and when you find out an easy way to get to them on these new cars let me know, usualy you end up tearing half the dash apart to change a bulb.

Try the fuses first friend. The bulbs are a real pain if that's it!

What kind of car? You will have to pull the gauge cluster in most cars and put the bulbs in from the back side. If one of the lights is working you know it's not a fuse, if they are all out check the interior fuse box for the fried fuse. Pull them all one at a time if you don't have a chart.
