Why are people so happy?
If they know it's going to be filled with sadness more than happiness, if it just a normal day then why, it just indicates to a new session of time of Sadness predominating happiness.
What is your opinion?

Not everyone does celebrate. I have two very good friends that are just staying home tonight - they see no reason to spend tonight any differently. I, however, always like to think of New Year's Eve as a "do-over". Remember, when you were a kid and used to be able to cry "do-over" when a game didn't go your way? This is everyone's do-over.

Some see it as a new beginning. Everything's "new." And hey, it's a day off work, isn't it? That's always something to celebrate!
